Out and About
This morning Olivia kept crying at the front door, so I decided I better take her for a walk! We got bundled up and ventured out. There were lots of people out walking, shoveling their walkways and some people shoveling their cars out. I would have to have somewhere very important to be to be willing to drive. The roads (even the main ones) are solid snow and ice.
Olivia and I walked down by our neighborhood coffee shop, Buzz. Much to my surprise, they were open! Word must have spread quickly… I saw lots of people walking with coffee in hand! In the image below you’ll see that one couple decided to ski to the coffee shop! They had ski poles and a German Shepard with them. It would have been fun to let the dog pull a person on the skis!
I saw a clip of DC on our news last night, and someone was skiing. I loved it.
